Adi Shankara
Life and Times
Adi Shankara (also known as Adi Shankaracharya) was a phenomenal 8th-century realised soul and enlightened saint born in Kalady, a small village in Kerala, India. He travelled extensively across the Indian subcontinent to propagate his philosophy of Advaita Vedanta (non-dualism) before passing away at a very young age in Kedarnath, located in the Himalayas.
