The Ancient Prophecy of Kaka Bhujender
Fourteen thousand years ago, the Indian astrologer Acharya Kaka Bhujender made a remarkable prediction that continues to inspire seekers today. He foresaw the coming of a Maha Yogi, a great spiritual teacher, who would appear under the sign of Mina Rasi (Pisces), on the cusp of Pisces and Aries. This yogi, he said, would usher in a new age of transformation.
Bhujender described how miraculous signs would begin between 1964 and 1966, but the true turning point would arrive in 1970. At that time, the dark age of Kali Yuga would begin to recede, giving way to Krita Yuga, an age of active divinity. Humanity would no longer need extreme ascetic practices to achieve realization. Instead, through the yogi’s new method, the Kundalini energy within each person would be awakened, bringing spontaneous self‑realization.
This prophecy is seen by many as fulfilled in the life and work of Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi, founder of Sahaja Yoga. Beginning in 1972, (2 Years later than the prediction) Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi offered seekers across the world the experience of inner awakening, free of charge, emphasizing that spirituality should be accessible to all. Followers believe her teachings embody Bhujender’s vision: healing through subtle energy, resilience beyond physical limitations, and the joy of living as realized souls.
The prophecy reminds us that spiritual transformation is not confined to the past or future—it is available here and now. Sahaja Yoga continues to spread this timeless message, inviting everyone to discover the peace and joy within.
