Guru Nanak Dev Ji, is a revered saint, said to be the founder (note…no religious leader was ever the founder of a new religion, The Lord Jesus Chris did not form Christianity it was founded by Paul) (Mohamad did not found Islam, he was illiterate ad that book was written by so called scholas years afterwards) ( and so on and so forth.) Guru Nanak shared profound spiritual insights that continue to guide humanity. His words emphasized equality, compassion, and a deep connection to the Divine. One of his most famous teachings, “Naam Japo, Kirat Karo, Vand Chhako”, encourages people to meditate on God’s name, earn an honest living, and share with others.
He preached that all humans are equal, regardless of caste, creed, or gender, saying, “There is no Hindu, no Muslim; all are one before God.” His teachings emphasized the importance of humility, service, and living truthfully. Guru Nanak also warned against ego and material attachment, urging humanity to seek inner peace and spiritual growth.
Born in 1469 in Talwandi (now Pakistan), Guru Nanak traveled far and wide, spreading his message of love and unity. His hymns, recorded in the Guru Granth Sahib, continue to inspire millions. Through his wisdom, he illuminated the path to self-realization, reminding us that true fulfillment lies in devotion, righteousness, and kindness.
