Shri-Mataji's-Book-Meta_Modern-Era

Meta Modern Era by Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi is a loving, compelling and powerful book that introduces a tangible spiritual breakthrough for the 21st century — spontaneous Self Realization through Sahaja Yoga meditation — which opens a new dimension in human awareness.

Written by Nobel Peace Prize nominee and one of the greatest voices on spirituality, Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi, the book offers stunningly deep insights on the crises of our modern times and the solutions to their root problems.

From the preface to Meta Modern Era
“Actually I did not want to write a book of this kind. I am a person who is in complete joy of Divinity. There is the all-pervading joy of Divine love and I wanted everyone to enjoy it. Specially in the West I have seen that there are many seekers of absolute Truth. There are many scientists who have written voluminous books about consciousness, about awareness. One can give a list of them. But all these books really weary you completely, because they do not emit any knowledge of the ultimate truth. I don’t want to criticize them; after all whatever they are doing constitutes honest research. But why not also give a chance to this new discovery which is being made? Why not humble down to see what is beyond this mind which gives you all this artificial intelligence?

It is extremely difficult for me to write about the problems of Western life. It is like an enormous tree which has grown outside. How to be pushed down now to the roots and made to grow inside. It is only by going deep inside that we can find out what the problems of Western civilization are which have kept a Western mind away from truth.”

Shri-Mataji-Nirmala-Devi-Book-Advent

This book proposes and describes a new category of perception called vibratory awareness, beyond thought, feelings or instinct, by which all kinds of absolute questions are answered. This awareness itself, thinks, organizes and loves. It balances, neutralises and heals human problems, and relates man to the divine. In different scriptures it has been named as divine breath or the flood of bliss. It is innate in every human being, though unconscious for most.

The-3rd-Advent-Incarnation

The Third Advent takes the prophecies of a 12th century Italian mystic, Giacomo Di Fiore, who saw that there would be three great ages in the history of religion, the Age of the Father, said by the author to correspond to the time from Lord Krishna through to the birth of Lord Jesus Christ, the Age of the Son, from the advent of Jesus to the present time, and The Age of the Mother, i.e. The Third Advent, that of the divine mother.
The Third Advent is a history of the last 6000 years in which the author shows why the great religions, philosophies and economic systems of the world have all failed to bring about the emancipation of the human race.

He goes on to show that it is only through individual transformation that mankind can make the changes necessary to save itself and thence the earth itself. The Third Advent presents a message of great hope, that through the unique discovery of en masse Self-realization through Sahaja Yoga, at individual, corporate and collective levels, the goals intended by the great religions, i.e. the emancipation of the entire human race, can be achieved.

The book introduces the reader to a new and challenging perspective on the mystical side of yoga as compared to the world religions. It provides a bridge between the Eastern and Western forms of spirituality which support and complete each other. The author resorted to a wealth of documentary sources aiming to reveal the profound unity and often hidden essence of the world’s spiritual heritage. The Bhagavad-Gita-Enlightened

The Gita is for all seekers of truth to help them recognize truth from untruth. It directs the Spirit’s ascent through winding mind alleys of conditioning, concepts and projections into the threshold of Absolute Truth. In the light thrown by Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi on the subject, Yogi Mahajan gathers the dried-up leaves of the text so far buried under the weight of priesthood and brings them back to life for the seeker of Truth.

A-book-called-Recollections-of-our-devine-Mother-a

There are many volumes of these recollections of the Sahaja Yogis during their time in the presence of Her Holiness Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi, this the second volume (second edition) of personal experiences of people who were fortunate to spend time in the presence of Her Holiness Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi. Through these stories one experiences the incredible outpouring of her divine love, and the tireless energy with which she spread this joy to the world. This volume has many stories of the spread of Sahaja Yoga, Shri Mataji’s unique system of en masse self realisation, to Europe, Australia and North America. There are also many accounts from India, for example descriptions of the ‘India Tours’ of these years, when Western Sahaja Yogis accompanied Shri Mataji to the villages of Maharashtra to give self realisation to many thousands of villagers.
